DESIRED OUTCOME

Understanding the impact you want to create during your life, along with the legacy you aim to leave behind, is a key part of your WHY. Both creating impact and leaving a meaningful legacy pave the way to happiness and fulfillment.

WHY THIS CHALLENGE IS IMPORTANT

We often speak with candidates who are unhappy in their current job, only to find after a short time in a new role, they are unhappy again. We have found that individuals gain clarity and purpose by aligning desired work impact with their WHY, contributing to a more significant impact on their life’s journey and their legacy. However, discovering your WHY and creating an impact on the path to your legacy is an evolving and infinite journey, one that deepens as individuals gain a better understanding of themselves and the missions and objectives they choose to support.

OUR CHALLENGE

Our challenge is for you to begin defining your WHY. This WHY will drive your impact and, ultimately, the legacy that future generations will remember you by. Your WHY may evolve as you progress on your life’s journey, but the key is to start defining that vision now. Write down what you want your legacy to be and take intentional actions that contribute to it including but not limited to asking colleagues if your consistent actions support your intended vision and be open to constructive feedback. Revisit your WHY each year, refining it as you gain more clarity along your journey.
