Our Approach
Our programs utilize a cohort-style learning structure where participants, meeting usually once or twice a week, receive group instruction based on proprietary curriculum that has continued to develop and update since 2007. Cohorts are referred to as "Working Groups" because participants go on to apply their knowledge on real-world projects. This is a hallmark of Exerceo programs – participants actually "work" and complete the program with demonstrable experience applying their new knowledge to accomplish real-world tasks and solve real-world business problems.
Another differentiator in Exerceo training programs is how it all happens and the power of mentorship. Learning occurs in a Cultivating Environment led primarily by past participants. The power of the our programs, the value they create, and the relationships that are formed are evidenced by the involvement of past participants as they instruct and mentor new participants.
Exerceo continues to refine and update its basic tool Cultivation, a 6-step discipline for identifying and mentoring tomorrow's superstars by immersing them in a positive, collaborative, and empowering environment that encourages learning and career development. Cultivation encourages sharing of these personnel across teams where they continue to grow their career while influencing others through collaboration, mentorship and knowledge sharing.
Challenge Series
Exerceo is offering a new Challenge Series that broadens our existing mission to inspire and transform society by extending relevant learning to everyone with a new monthly Challenge Series that is meaningful and freely available for everyone to participate. The goal of the Challenge Series is to break off small lessons and activities to challenge rising professionals to continue learning, growing, and developing useful habits based upon the wisdom of successful working professionals. Each of the challenges are designed to be completed within one month while not interfering with usual day-to-day commitments.
Information Technology Working Groups
We believe people, organizations and whole communities must rethink how innovation occurs and how the workforce drives, implements, and sustains new innovation. To be sure, the speed of change is very fast and the older "educate then employ" system of workforce development can neither keep up nor deliver the prepared employees industry requires. Nowadays, learning and innovating is a matter of doing, and doing is a matter of learning and innovating.
